As a travel writer with a soft spot for good beer, I was intrigued by my recent stay at Studio 22 in Bellingen. Upon entering, I was welcomed by a unique interior that set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The space is undeniably well-appointed, offering amenities like a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a comprehensive kitchen with cookware and tea/coffee facilities. The hosts have clearly invested thought into every detail; shampoo and conditioner were provided, alongside free toiletries, which added a touch of comfort. Despite the luxury feel, the value proposition is strong here. Unlike a standard motel, this studio provides a homely atmosphere with room to unwind after a day of exploring the scenic local area. The bed is spacious and comfortable, making it easy to recharge for the next adventure. While it remains an investment compared to budget accommodations, being near the main street and providing a mini-bar and dining area makes it an appealing choice for a few days away. If I return to Bellingen, I'd consider this studio again;
